Buttercups
In the middle of a wide-open field, every spring, bouquets of buttercups emerge. Sometimes, in the exact formation of some sort of square? Chances are… once a house stood in that field.
Of course, we could make the case that the things we accomplish on our journey leave an impression or a “footprint” for generations after; Some influence, some gift, some part of us, good or bad will remain.
Our journey so important because it does affect others in ways we can never see or know.
I think it is also important to focus on the loving attention it took to plant those beautiful spring bulbs. The deliberate act of planting not only left footprints, the bulbs brought joy and beauty to those who planted them.
We can choose to inhabit our space in a very thoughtful and deliberate manner. We can choose to intentionally plant flowers that fill us and those around us with joy and purpose and love. We are here, we can own our existence.
Our choices matter.
A gardener may need to have his soil tested to find out just what is in the mix. As humans, we may have the same needs. Perhaps, if issues persist, speak to a licensed third party to give a truer picture of the landscape, to test the soil.
Above all, Live the life you have making the best choices you can with the information available.
Much Love,
